Retirement Planning Services

Offering retirement planning services as a voluntary benefit shows employees that their employer cares about their future. These plans may recommend several investment products to employees to comfortably retire.

Retirement planning is a valuable service for employees, which is becoming more desirable in premium benefits packages. It involves determining retirement goals, sizing up income, listing expenses, creating a savings plan, and looking at assets and risk management.

There are many types of plans your workplace can sponsor for your employees along with the planning services themselves. Retirement investments noted below are only part of retirement planning.

  • 401(k) Plans – One type of employee retirement account benefit. The employee may reduce their amount of income by contributing to a tax-deferred investment program with pre-tax portions of their paycheck.
  • IRAs – Tax-favored accounts that investors pay money into, including bonds, stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and other financial products. An IRA may stand alone or be used in combination with an employer-provided 401(K) plan.
